When Vertical Technologies was first established in 2003 our goal was to build a network of primarily freelance AutoCAD professionals, that share a common passion for Computer Aided Design, and are all-around computer-savvy indivuduals with cutting-edge skills and excellent communication ability. Presently run by the company's founders, VTC Design maintains this standard today by linking together the best and most knowledgeable CAD designers in New York.

Elliot Gindis has been an AutoCAD designer, consultant and instructor since 1996, logging in over 30,000 hours of screen time and over 12 years of classroom and corporate training. Until recently he was a part-time AutoCAD instructor for Pratt Institute of Design and New York Institute of Technology, both in New York City, and has also taught for Netcom, RoboTECH and CDM.

Elliot's new textbook "Up and Running with AutoCAD 2012", published by Elsevier Science & Technology division features his unique teaching approach and is available in stores July 29th, 2011. Elliot's training territory covers New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, California, Florida and Atlanta, GA, where he currently resides.

Elliot holds a Bachelors in Science in Aerospace Engineering from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. He founded VTC Design in 2003 and remains the firm's lead consultant.

CHRIS RAMIREZ - Vice President

Chris Ramirez has been an AutoCAD designer and consultant to Architects for 13 years. and is an Autodesk Certified Instructor (ACI) with 8 years of classroom experience and corporate training. Chris is also a Certified Technical Trainer (CTT+) and A+ certified in PC upgrade and repair.

His clients included NBC/Universal, Siemens and RM Architects, and he is a part-time instructor at Pratt Institute and New York Institute of Technology (NYIT).

Chris's training territory covers New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, California and Nevada. He holds a B.S. in Architecture from CUNY and joined VTC Design in 2004.

John Takacs -
John is a NYC based consultant trainer
specializing in architecture, engineering,
construction and manufacturing. He is
an Autodesk Certified Instructor and
holds a B.S. Technical Education from
Trenton State College.

Phil Gauntt -
Phil is an Autodesk Certified Instructor
specializing in AutoCAD and Archi-
tectural Desktop. He provides progr-
amming and customization to area
Autodesk dealers and institutions.
He is also a senior staff member
at Pratt Institute of Design in NYC.
